In-demand Brisbane Broncos superstar Payne Haas has revealed he has been getting support from Sonny Bill Williams as another Haas contract saga threatens to derail the flying Broncos who are sitting pretty in equal first position alongside the Panthers.

“Sonny is real good,” Haas told AAP.

“He always reaches out to me. Obviously I’m going through some stuff and he has always made sure I am all good and give me some advice.

“He is pretty special to me Sonny.

“We are pretty close. He is good to have around me.”

The Broncos host the Eels at the Gabba on Friday night.
