Hall of Fame #28: Jack Gibson

There will never be another rugby league identity quite like the original supercoach Jack Gibson.

A representative prop in his own right, Gibson would cement his place in football history as an innovative coach way ahead of his time.

Gibson took Eastern Suburbs to back-to-back premierships in the 1970’s before leading Parramatta to three consecutive crowns the following decade.

A master tactician and a leader of men, Gibson was simply one of the best.

Gibson was the first to use computer and video technology and made the bomb the attacking weapon it is today.
