Paralysed former Newcastle Knights player Alex McKinnon is reportedly set to sue the NRL and Melbourne prop Jordan McLean over the tackle that ended his career in 2014.
According to News Corp, a letter was sent to the NRL by McKinnon’s lawyers last week.

According to the report, McLean is being sued personally by McKinnon on top of the lawsuit against the NRL.
McKinnon received $1.2 million in fundraising from the NRL and the fans and was also paid out the full $500,000 compensation available. The Knights also paid out his contract and have since kept him in full-time employment.
