Melbourne and New Zealand teammate Jesse Bromwich says the Storm will be lucky to keep star second-rower Kevin Proctor on their books.

When asked about their chances, Bromwich replied “not good” while in Four Nations camp.

Proctor is under contract but the Storm wouldn’t stand in the way of the reported $1.5 million offer.

“I hope he can stick around at Melbourne Storm. I’ve played my whole career with him, so to see him go would be pretty sad because he’s pretty close to me and my family, so I’m hoping we can keep him there but he’s got to do what’s best for him.”
