Retired Australian and Queensland halfback Scott Prince is set to make a shock return according to Rugby League Week.

The report says Prince is close to agreeing to terms with Hull KR to play in the second tier competition in England under former Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens.

The pair helped steer Wests to their only premiership in 2005.

“Scott is keen, Tim is keen so it’s just a question of sorting out the fine points of the deal,” the source told RLW.

“Hopefully that will happen in the next few weeks.”
