If there is one thing to take out of Wednesday night’s classic State of Origin finish it was never to go on social media to bask in the sunshine that is rugby league.
No matter the mistakes players make on-field, no matter the indiscretions, the referees are always wrong and it’s always their fault. Give me a break.
Yes the penalty count was lopsided last night but guess what? It happens.
Queensland didn’t get away with the niggle last night and finally the Blues got the rub of the green.
The penalty count could have been higher too. Everytime Cameron Smith tackled Paul Gallen there was a forearm, neck yank or wrestle.
Queensland are an awesome team and deserve their series win. Good on them. But why are so many bitching instead of celebrating OUR game?
Let’s get the keyboard warrior outrage squad out there and see how they go calling an Origin match.

Last night we gave three Handyman Magazine Medal points to debutant Blues fullback James Tedesco.
Apparently nobody agreed with us.
On Twitter we had Panthers fans dirty Matt Moylan didn’t get points and Dragons fans complaining about Tyson Frizell.
Shock horror.

How “Origin” is Wade Graham? Midway through the second half Graham went up in the defensive line and hammered the Maroons in three consecutive tackles. He’s got a blue jersey for as long as he wants it.
