New South Wales captain Paul Gallen says he will miss early training with the Blues ahead of State of Origin II after a collision with North Queensland tyro Jason Taumalolo on Monday night where Cronulla defeated the premiers 13-10.
“I won’t run for a couple of days,” he said.
“Laurie has already said that, I won’t run until Thursday. I’ll just miss that Wednesday session probably.
“I had a knock really early off the back of a big Jason Taumalolo run which sort of got my knee a little bit. I sort of twisted my ankle as well.
“I’ll be fine to go.
“It’s nothing that will keep me out or lose any games at all.”
