The Wests Tigers have continued their winning way in the Intrust Super Premiership defeating Wyong on Saturday in a cracker of a contest at Campbelltown Stadium. Curtis Woodward, Lewis Shepperd and Jack Clifton gave the Wests Ashfield Man of the Match to captain Asipeli Fine while the returning Matt Ballin received Wests’ Players’ Player award. The home side held on for a 24-22 victory but it could have been oh so different if Tyler Cornish’s lofted pass hit the mark late in the contest with the Roos deep on the attack. Other standouts included Josh Addo-Carr, Rod Griffin and Wyong’s Zane Tetevano.
