Returned North Queensland Cowboys centre Kane Linnett has praised the depth of the club and Javid Bowen who impressed whilst filling in for the premiership-winning centre.

“Javid did a really good job, it’s good to see a young guy like him come up and play well and he’s been playing some really good footy in the Q Cup too,” he said.

“We have Origin and stuff coming around so there’s going to be a few times there when we need some boys to come in and there might be a few injuries down the track so it’s really good to get those boys some game time now.”
