Queensland cult hero Adrian Vowles is predicting Cameron Smith to continue playing in 2021 but will begin the season in the Intrust Super Cup before linking with the Gold Coast Titans.

Vowles, who represented the Maroons in 1994, posted to Twitter on Wednesday night that he thought Smith would play on and eventually end up at the Titans.

“Here’s what I think will happen in regards to Cameron Smith for what it’s worth,” the former Seagull and Cowboy begun.

“I think he will either start in QLD Cup with (Burleigh) Bears or Tweed or at Currumbin Eagles with Matty Geyer and then suit up with the Titans.”

Smith is reportedly yet to make a decision on his future after winning a title with the Melbourne Storm a few months ago.

He has since bought a home just a short drive from Cbus Super Stadium.
