Giant Cronulla Sharks centre Siosifa Talakai will be given every chance of stepping out onto PointsBet Stadium on Saturday night as he battles an ongoing ankle injury.

Talakai is expected to be named in the centres for the Sharks as they look toward victory over North Queensland and a spot in the preliminary finals in Week Three.

It has been a bust-out season for the hulking Talakai who debuted for the Blues in State of Origin and this week was named in the centres in the The81stMinute.com ‘Team of the Year’.
