Hulking Parramatta winger Maika Sivo has sensationally revealed he has never watched an NRL grand final ahead of his first taste of the blockbuster event this Sunday against the Penrith Panthers.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the Fijian bulldozer will line up against Charlie Staines at Accor Stadium.

“I haven’t watched (a grand final) or been in one,” Sivo said.

“Actually… I might have watched one before but that might have been Origin.

“I haven’t watched one, now I’m in one.”

Sivo has scored 13 tries in 15 appearances this season for the Eels.
