Things are heating up in the California Rugby League with three clubs battling it out to make it to the championship game at Boxer Stadium in San Francisco on September 25 with the LA Mongrel, SF Savage and East Palo Alto Razorbacks all still in contention for the Mine Digital California Rugby League World Championship match.

It all comes down to the Razorbacks vs Savage match a week earlier.

The LA Mongrel have a nervous wait with the result of that game to decide whether they qualify for CRL’s biggest clash of the season or finish 3rd.

“The Mine Digital California Rugby League World Championship has been running since June with 7 Teams from California taking place in the competition,” a statement for the event reads.

“Each team has played three games with the best ranked sides going through to the Championship Game.”

The 3500-seat capacity Boxer Stadium will showcase three games on the biggest day of the CRL season including the 3rd vs 4th playoff game at 11.30am and a women’s match to be held at 1pm before the main event at 3pm.

Tickets are available for locals at just $10.
