Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire was pleased with his side’s big win over Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday where young gun Adam Douehi returned to five-eigth and starred in the 42-24 victory.

Douehi began 2021 in the halves but was shifted to the centres which confused many fans.

His return to the 6 jersey saw Wests Tigers look far more dangerous.

“I think everyone had their moments,” the coach said after the win.

“Adam definitely, it was good to see him come back in.

“He’s been in the background working on his game as he does. Moses (Mbye) has done some great things in the halves for us as well but I made the change and it was good to see the boys jump into that.”

Wests Tigers now play the high-flying Manly Sea Eagles this Saturday.
