He has just pleaded his case as to why the Brisbane Broncos shouldn’t sack him but star forward Tevita Pangai Junior has now reportedly given up the club to the NRL over several third party deal disputes.
Pangai Jr is apparently furious some deals haven’t been met by the club despite them being illegal under NRL rules.
The Sydney Morning Herald and Channel Nine’s Danny Weidler first broke the news on Sunday and followed up on Tuesday stating that TPJ had met with the NRL and would not be silenced by some in the game.
It means several Broncos officials are in the firing line and could be sacked.
According to Weidler, Pangai’s interview with the Integrity Unit went for several hours.
Under NRL laws, any third party deal must be registered with the NRL.
