The Canberra Raiders have signed their fifth English International with James Hooper from Fox Sports reporting Wigan halfback George Williams has signed with the Raiders on a three-year deal.

Williams has been linked to a move to the nation’s capital for some time.

He is set to play under Ricky Stuart alongside countrymen Josh Hodgson, John Bateman, Elliott Whitehead and Ryan Sutton.

The Raiders are flying high and sit in the top four and are set for a blockbuster showdown against the Sydney Roosters this weekend at Suncorp Stadium.
