Former Brisbane winger Daniel Vidot is being linked to the Gold Coast Titans after being released by English Super League club Salford.

Salford agreed to release the Samoan International halfway through his contract.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here. It wasn’t easy last season with injuries but I really gave it my best shot. It’s a decision made purely for my own reasons and has nothing to do with anyone at the club,” Vidot said.

“Everyone here has been massively supportive of me and I can’t thank them enough.”
