Parramatta legend says South Sydney in firing line of pumped up Eels

Club legend Nathan Hindmarsh says Parramatta have already set targets on the heads of their next round rivals South Sydney.

Hindmarsh, who played over 300 games in the blue and gold, believes Brad Arthur will have his men primed for a huge showing.

“A couple of them, in particular, have gone through some really lean years – obviously wooden spoons – and then to get a side playing as well as they are under Brad at the moment and be a real shot at grand final contenders, it must be heart wrenching,” Hindmarsh said on Fox Sports.

“I think we can expect to see against South Sydney in their next game what we’ve been seeing all year – a great performance.

“Brad Arthur would have got the team together and done their sums. Mathematically they can still make the semi finals if and when they comply with the NRL salary cap.

“He will have them all revved up for another game.”
