Anthony Milford’s Brisbane teammate Josh McGuire says Anthony Milford should be allowed to play for Samoa in the Pacific Test despite pledging his allegiance to Queensland and Australia.

Milford was suspended from representing the Maroons this season but can’t play for Samoa under the current rules.

“The Pacific Tests are televised. A lot of eyes will be watching,” McGuire told AAP.

“And people want to see Milford play.

“If he’s not playing for Australia, let him play for Samoa.

“I just think it will improve the game. And TV ratings would be great.”
