Semi Radradra’s Parramatta team-mate and former New South Wales winger Michael Gordon says seeing the Fijian flyer on the State of Origin stage would be a great sight adding the eligibility rules weren’t up to him to fix.
“It’s not my call to say. But obviously being a New South Welshmen I’d love to see him play, but the rules are there and I suppose it’s not up to me to fix them,” Gordon said.
“He’s fantastic though. Watching him last year he was phenomenal. Coming to the Eels since, he’s a man of few words but what he does on the field is freakish.
“He showed a lot by coming in-field a lot looking for the ball [versus the Bulldogs] and that’s only better for us when he does that.”
Parramatta play Wests Tigers on Easter Monday at ANZ Stadium in what should be a high-scoring affair.
Meanwhile Gordon was comfortable to let his footy do the talking with his one year contract expiring at the end of 2016.
“It’s still only early days at the moment so I suppose I’ll just focus on the season,” he said.
“If we’re winning and I’m playing good football then I have a case to take to the club to try and stay.”
