Foran has no regrets about Eels move despite salary cap dramas

New Parramatta captain Kieran Foran says he has absolutely no doubt he made the right decision in leaving Manly for the Eels amid speculation his club was in even more salary cap strife after alleged illegal third party deals with sponsors.

“I couldn’t be happier,” Foran told Sky Sports Radio’s Big Sports Breakfast.

“I haven’t looked back once in terms of the move I made.

“I’m completely comfortable with the situation now and what’s going on.

“I hear nothing of the dramas.”

Foran is hoping to make first grade debut for the Eels this weekend against the North Queensland Cowboys.

“I’ve tested it flat out on Monday and gave it another test yesterday [Wednesday] and it all came through fine,” he said.

“Fingers crossed that I get through the captain’s run on Friday and I get through the game.”
