Jordan McLean won a premiership with the Melbourne Storm less than five months ago but will be on the opposite side of the field in tonight’s Cameron Smith/Johnathan Thurston testimonial match at Suncorp Stadium.

McLean is now a Cowboy and says he will be doing everything he can to help bring Smith’s Storm down for Thurston.

“I haven’t thought about it too much. It was going to happen at some stage,” McLean said.

“I’ve got a lot of good mates there and a lot of respect for the players and the club itself so I’m sure they’ll come out firing for Smithy and I’ll do the same for JT”.

Kick-off is 7pm local time.
