Penrith Panthers junior Peter Wallace scoffed at returning to the club when still at the Brisbane Broncos.
Wallace debuted at the Panthers but felt at the time that he was mistreated by previous administration and signed with Brisbane.
He was then dropped to reserve grade for the remainder of the year before heading to Queensland.
Amazingly, Wallace was then axed by Brisbane coach Anthony Griffin despite being a mainstay of the club – the playmaker returned to Penrith after discussions with Panthers GM Phil Gould.
Now Wallace will captain the Panthers under Griffin.

”We get along great now. We’ve got a good working relationship too,” Wallace told NRL.com.
“There was never an issue with us. But obviously, what went on in the past – it’s gone full circle.”
