This New South Wales Team Looks a Little Different

The talk around the water cooler is already beginning. Even though State of Origin seems miles away, many south of the Tweed are already putting their New South Wales teams together.

Wing and the halves seem worrying positions for the Blues and everyone has an opinion. But based on our Player of the Year points alone, what would the NSW team look like?

Injured Bulldog Brett Morris has polled the most votes thus far while there are a few more surprises in the backs with the likes of James Roberts and Luke Keary in the mix. Mitch Rein has had a great start to the year for St George Illawarra while Paul Gallen is relegated to the bench due Rein’s fellow Dragon, Trent Merrin.

A few shocks on the bench too with workhorse Ryan Hinchliffe and the enigmatic Feleti Mateo getting a run.
