An eye witness account has suggested there is plenty come in the standing down of St George Illawarra centre Dane Nielsen.

There are confirmed reports that Nielsen and troubled Cronulla recruit Ben Barba came to blows outside a Cronulla restaurant after both were seen at the same nightclub in Sydney’s south.

Up to 8 players from both the Sharks and the Dragons were there to break up the fight which left Barba in a daze after Nielsen had been earlier kicked out of the Sting Bar which is located on the Kingsway.

It is now understood that Nielsen was the instigator and had been harrasing Barba throughout the night.

It’s also been reported that a woman has made a complaint to the St George Illawarra club that Nielsen bit her on the leg before being thrown off the premises.

Both Nielsen and Barba hail from Mackay in Queensland’s north.

This latest incident comes after Canterbury’s Jacob Loko and Manly winger Jorge Taufua were caught on CCTV coming to blows in the Sydney CDB.
