Gold Coast coach Neil Henry has questioned Canterbury prop Sam Kasiano’s hit on Aidan Sezer which may have prematurely ended Sezer’s career at the Titans.

The tackle came late in the game on Sunday after Sezer cleared a kick from his own half.

“Obviously there’s a bit of difference if the kicker is going to the line to put a grubber through but Aidan wasn’t going to the line to kick it,” Henry said.

“And when you’ve got 126 kilos landing on an 85kg body that is side on, something is going to give.

“And his shoulder moved a bit.

“I don’t know if it’s AC or something worse than that.

“But he couldn’t use his arm and it wasn’t worth trying to needle it.”
