The Brisbane Broncos will squeeze two forwards out of their 2026 salary cap as they try and retain several of their big-name stars beyond this season.
According to News Corp, 256-gamer Martin Taupau may be forced into retirement at the age of 35 after playing for four separate NRL sides.
The other is Muswellbrook-native Fletcher Baker who debuted for the Sydney Roosters in 2021.
