Former Wallabies coach Eddie Jones has conceded the once untouchable New Zealand All Blacks are under pressure from the Warriors and the NRL.
Jones has been seen in recent weeks inside Parramatta’s coaching box on game day and understands the pressure on rugby union in the southern hemisphere – especially on the All Blacks over the ditch if the NRL were to bring in a second NRL franchise.
“New Zealand [Rugby]’s possibly going through a period now where they’re going to have to adjust their talent pool because they’re undoubtedly getting pressure from the Warriors,” Jones told The Roar.
“If they put a second NRL team there? Super Rugby’s not what every kid aspires to play in.”
Jones is currently the head coach of the Japanese rugby team.
