Former Wests Tigers winger John Hopoate, who played with the joint-venture club in their maiden seasons in 2000 and 2001, has taken to his personal Facebook page and unleashed in an incredible tirade against Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson after an alleged incident at a recent club event celebrating 25 years of Wests Tigers.

Hopoate, according to a report from the Wide World of Sports, confronted NSWRL boss David Trodden after being banned from playing in a park football game for Narraweena.

“Shane Richardson you F/ AT B/. ASTARD. NO 1 LIKES you anyways. Like I GIVE A CRAP that you have suspended me for LIFE for going to tigers Functions. You never said that to me after the function when you seen what I done and shook my hand and thanked me for coming, 2 FACE MUT.”

The post came after Richardson told The Sydney Morning Herald about the confrontation at the end of the night.

“It was a really disappointing way to end what was an excellent night,” Richardson said.

“‘Hoppa was in Dave’s face about why he had been barred from the NSWRL.

“I’ll tell you now, he’s not welcome at any future Wests Tigers functions.”
