“About time they respond”: Wally Lewis concedes New South Wales has advantage in forwards ahead of Game III decider

Queensland’s greatest ever player Wally Lewis has conceded he is worried about the New South Wales Blues pack dominating the Maroons and taking the series in Game III in Brisbane.

Maroons coach Billy Slater has again selected a lightweight forward rotation which includes Kalyn Ponga and Harry Grant on the pine.

“We’re lacking a bit of size,” Lewis told Channel Nine’s Wide World of Sports.

“It will be quite interesting to see how the other player responds.

“I’m sure Billy will be talking to the players and just saying to them that he’s shown faith in them and it’s about time they respond.

“They have another chance now to remind the coach that he made the right decision.”
