Broncos premiership-winning legend rips into the Broncos ahead of clash against Raiders at Suncorp

Brisbane Broncos legend and premiership-winner Corey Parker has put his former side in its place ahead of round six.

The 2023 grand finalists currently sit 10th with a 3-3 record but the Kangaroos lock hasn’t liked everything he’s seen so far from Kevin Walters’ men this season.

“What I’m seeing at the moment they’re not the team to beat at the moment,” Parker told SENQ Mornings.

“The Brisbane Broncos are not where they need to be, they’re not where they want to be, they were 13th in terms of conceding points so there’s four other sides that are worse than them.

“They’ve got an opportunity with players coming back to make a move but right now they’re not in that conversation just based on the evidence,” Parker said.

“They’ve played some good teams and they’ve faced some adversity, absolutely I acknowledge that, and they’ve got some work to do.”

The Broncos host Canberra Raiders on Saturday night at Lang Park.
