ARLC chairman Peter V’landys has revealed plans to use the NRLW and even the English Super League as marketing chips in the American market over the next five years.

The historic first NRL double header for premiership points in Las Vegas is just days away and V’landys says the game is thinking of different ways to cash in.

“Nick ]Politis] said ‘you’ve got a unique situation with the women’s game. Why wouldn’t you take a women’s game to America’,” V’landys told NRL.com.

Why three clubs with 411 seasons of heritage need 2024 to be the year they start their journeys back up the NRL food chain

“That would take our game to another to another level, especially considering how good they are.

“The other one that we’re going to look at is Super League itself, because our research has shown that the biggest travellers are English. To take a Super League game there, as well, would generate a lot more people coming from England to the US.”
