Brisbane Broncos enforcer Payne Haas is ready to take on the might of the Penrith Panthers engine room this Sunday night in the grand final.

And the big fellow wasn’t messing about when asked about what it would take to bring down the back-to-back champions at Accor Stadium.

“Obviously they’ve been the best team the last couple of years,” The game’s premier prop began.

“These are the kind of games you want to play in and win in.

“They got two arms, two legs just like us and they bleed like us as well.

“Looking to knock them off this week.

“Marto (Penrith’s Liam Martin) and all that … they’re going to come out and try and kill us.

“Looking forward to it, it’s a great challenge and they’re great players as well.”

The duel up front between Haas and Penrith’s James Fisher-Harris and Moses Leota will go along way to deciding the early stages of the match.
