Storm star Harry Grant says side ready to roll sleeves up for 80 minutes against Roosters

Melbourne hooker Harry Grant concedes the Storm didn’t play for 80 minutes against the Broncos last week at Suncorp Stadium but are prepared to roll their sleeves up against the Sydney Roosters in an elimination final at AAMI Park on Friday night.

The Kangaroos representative told NRL.com that he was expected the Roosters to go the distance despite a long injury list.

“They are going to be physical and fast and it’s going to be that for the duration of the game so whether we weren’t mentally prepared for that on Friday night, the Broncs got the jump on us there, that’s probably something for us to learn from.

“In saying that we just have to simplify things and get back to playing to our strengths.”

Grant will go one-on-one with good friend and former Storm cult hero Brandon Smith in a vital individual clash.
