Veteran winger Josh Mansour could be in line to replace Alex Johnston if the Souths flyer can’t overcome a hip flexor injury he sustained in the side’s week one win over the Sydney Roosters.

Johnston is expected to train later in the week but if he is ruled out – Mansour could make his first appearance in the nrl since Round 8.

Mansour played 158 games for the Panthers between 2012 and 2020 and was unceremoniously squeezed out of the club after Penrith lost to the Melbourne Storm in the grand final.
