‘Some good things coming out of Belmore soon’: Canterbury young gun promises improvements at Bulldogs in 2022

Don’t write off the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2022 – that’s the message from young gun Aaron Schoupp who says the addition of some classy recruits has the Doggies singing at Belmore.

Schoupp has revealed to The Daily Telegraph that the ‘mentality’ within the club was completely different to the outfit that has spluttered from one wooden spoon to another in recent seasons.

“Day one of pre-season, you walked in it was like walking into a whole new team,” Schoupp said.

“But it’s been so good. It has been refreshing for the boys, everyone has a bit of a buzz at the moment when we walk into training because everyone has bought into what we are trying to build.

“We have that mentality that there is going to be some good things coming out of Belmore soon.”
