Wests Tigers club great Chris Lawrence on Tuesday announced his retirement from the game with the 31-year-old calling time on a career that began way back in 2006.
Earmarked as a future star of the State of Origin arena, Lawrence suffered a horrific injury in 2011 when he dislocated his hip in a game in front of his home crowd at Campbelltown.
Lawrence was never the same but he did go on to represent Australia.
Another serious injury last year at training where he smashed his face in ten different places didn’t help his cause.
We went through and had a look at some of Lawrence’s highlights from his 250 game career to date.
