St George Illawarra are a legitimate NRL premiership threat and if you don’t believe us, ask Blues hopeful Tyson Frizell.
The Dragons sit atop of the competition along with Brisbane and North Queensland and next face Canterbury-Bankstown at ANZ Stadium.
“We pride ourselves on our defence but our attack needed work, and we’ve showed in the past two games that we have it in us,” Frizell said.
“We just want to keep playing consistent footy like we are at the moment and grinding out wins while continuing to restrict teams to a minimum.
“Off the back of that, our confidence will grow and hopefully we progress as the year goes on.”
Alarmingly for opponents, the Corrimal junior says the Saints can improve.
“There are areas we can improve on, definitely in attack, we can execute more plays and complete sets a bit better but we’re doing okay at the moment and if we continue the way we are, we’ll be going a long way to do well at the end of the year.”
