Australian coach Mal Meninga has accepted a role as the head of performance and culture at the Gold Coast Titans.
His new position will not interfere wth his duties as national coach.
The Immortal told press on Wednesday he wouldn’t be going anywhere near head coach Garth Brennan.
That’s not me,” he said.
“I have said on several occasions I have no desire to return to NRL club coaching and that remains the case.

“But working with the Titans — the youngest club in the NRL — in this role allows me to contribute to the game at club level with new and different challenges.”
Australia don’t have another fixture until the end of 2019.
