The Australian Kangaroos and new head coach Kevin Walters are in the air and headed to England for the Ashes series after boarding a flight from Sydney Airport at 6am on Wednesday morning.
It has been a long time between drinks.
The last Ashes series was way back in 2003 when “The Impossibles” under skipper Darren Lockyer – swept the Lions in three nail-biting and intensely close encounters.
As per previous Kangaroo Tours – the first Test match of the series will be played at Wembley in London.
