Incoming Perth Bears head coach Mal Meninga has revealed the incoming NRL club would target rising Canterbury-Bankstown second rower Jacob Preston.
Preston is a Bears junior and one of the most promising young forwards in the game.
“He’s certainly on my radar, no doubt,” Meninga told The Daily Telegraph.
“He is a great player – I’m a fan of Jacob.
“And being a Norths junior doubles our interest.
“Being an ex-Bear is an important link.
“We are starting fresh, but to have that Bears’ DNA is a bonus.”
