Under fire Gold Coast Titans coach Des Hasler has refuted reports the club is secretly shopping star forward David Fifita to rival clubs.
Hasler recently dumped Fifita to reserve grade with the 25-year-old also struggling with an ankle injury which requires minor surgery.
“Yep, big part of our plans,” Hasler said.
“Our relationship is fine.
“Everything is good… everything is fine.
“We’re going well, we want to go better.
“So there are no issues there.
“Dave just needed to work on some areas and had to think a few things through.
“We’ve done that.”
The second-last Titans play the 12th placed Newcastle Knights on Friday night.
