The Parramatta Eels have confirmed star recruit Zac Lomax will miss the next weeks of the premiership due to a fractured foot which he did during his side’s first win of the year over St George Illawarra.
Lomax kicked the winning field goal in golden point but it appears the injury may have come earlier in the game.
It was the Kangaroos and Blues outside back’s first match against his former side with the Temora native seemingly a lock for a spot in Laurie Daley’s Blues side for Game I.
The injury may keep him out of contention for the first match of the series.
