Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow could be next Kangaroos star to drop hammer on Aussies and defect to the ever-growing Samoan revolution at Test level which follows in the footsteps of what Tonga achieved at the 2017 World Cup and since.
Payne Haas and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui are set to turn their backs on the Australian jumper to represent their Samoan heritage and the Dolphins flyer could be next.
“It is pretty cool how many Samoans do play in the NRL, and if they do get the crew together, it will be a pretty special team,” Tabuai-Fidow told AAP.
“I know all the boys will put their hands up to go back and play.”
Tabuai-Fidow has left the door open to play for Australia, if selected, for the Ashes series in England at the end of the year.
