Melbourne Storm superstar Ryan Papenhuyzen has revealed he and teammate Jahrome Hughes undertook a training workshop in New Zealand over the off-season with All Blacks icon Dan Carter.
Papenhuyzen told AAP that Carter helped the Storm duo with kicking drills along with other topics – including injury management.
“He [Carter] had some really bad injuries in his late 20s and he’d come back and won World Cups after it,” the fullback said.
The Storm play the New Zealand Warriors and North Queensland in trials before hosting Parramatta on Sunday March 9.
