Dolphins CEO Terry Reader has refuted rumours disgruntled Parramatta Eels star Dylan Brown was a target of the club.
Brown’s management recently approached every club in the NRL about signing the injured playmaker who has a clause in his contract that could see him leave the Eels at the end of this season.
“That was talked about repeatedly and we seem to be the top of the list no matter who’s going to be moving clubs,” Reader told Channel Nine’s Today show.
“But we are quite confident in the spine we’ve got.
“Our focus is on re-signing those and locking those guys up.
“We have some very good players in those positions.”
