South Sydney Rabbitohs recruit and good friend of Latrell Mitchell has revealed the team now has a swear jar after Mitchell’s interview with Triple M after their loss at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night.

The superstar fullback was taken to task by sections by experts and social media for dropping several profanities.

“Obviously he probably shouldn’t have said it so many times but (was a) slip of the tongue,” Wighton told media on Monday.

“We’ve got a swear jar at training now and we’ll leave it at that.”

Meanwhile Wighton, who is yet to debut for his new side, has baulked at playing in the halves after news broke that young halfback Lachlan Ilias had been dropped after just two weeks.
