Another English star could make the NRL his home with St Helens back-rower Joe Batchelor interested in a move to Australia from 2024 despite being contracted to the Saints until the end of 2025.

According to ‘The Mole’ of the Wide World of Sports website, the 28-year-old has hired an Aussie agent to negotiate a deal.

Batchelor featured in St Helens’ Super League grand final victory over Leeds which catapulted him into the English World Cup squad.
