Rugby league legend Cameron Smith believes Parramatta’s “premiership-window” ends this season but is concerned about the Eels’ ability to find enough consistency to challenge for the title.
After upsetting the Penrith Panthers two weeks ago, the Eels fell to the Sydney Roosters at Magic Round.
Agreeing with Greg Alexander on SEN and Parramatta’s lack of consistency, Smith replied: “I agree completely, consistency is their issue.
“They don’t have any issues getting up for any big games, they’re the only team that has beaten both of those teams (Penrith and Melbourne) in the competition.
“It’s not about getting up for the big ones.. it’s about going week-to-week and it’s ongoing.”
