The majority of us have grown up to the dulcet tones of the legendary Ray Warren calling the footy but the 77-year-old icon admits he may have already called his last game of footy.
Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald, Warren says he is still tossing up his future despite having another season to run on his contract.
Warren could make a decision in the coming weeks.
“I’m fearful of retirement because you don’t know what it is like until you dip your toe in the water, but then I’m fearfully protective of the good run I’ve been given and I don’t want to damage whatever reputation I may have built,” Warren said.
His first television call came way back in 1974 alongside Keith Barnes while presenting the Amco Cup.
